Arnez J. is a multi-talented stand-up comedian, actor, and writer who has achieved worldwide fame over the past two decades. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Arnez J. began his career in the early 1990s as a stand-up comedian on the comedy circuit. His natural comedic talent and unique style quickly earned him recognition and respect from his peers and fans alike. Since then, he has appeared on numerous television shows such as Def Comedy Jam, Comic View, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and Last Comic Standing. Additionally, he has had successful stints on Broadway and in Las Vegas where he was voted “Best Comedian” by the Las Vegas Review Journal for three consecutive years (2006–2008). Arnez J.'s success continued to grow when he released his first comedy album entitled "I Ain't Scared of You" in 2003. This album won a Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album in 2004 and solidified Arnez J.'s status as one of the best comedians of all time. In 2010, Arnez J. released his second comedy album entitled "Ain't No Stoppin' Me Now." This album was a huge success and earned him an NAACP Image Award nomination for Outstanding Comedy Album that same year.
In addition to acting and writing for television shows such as Martin Lawrence Presents 1st Amendment Stand Up on Starz Network from 2009 to 2012, Arnez J.'s talents have also been seen on the big screen in films such as Friday After Next (2002), Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins (2008), The Honeymooners (2005), Scary Movie 4 (2006) and Soul Plane (2004). He also starred alongside Tracy Morgan in the hit TBS show Are We There Yet? from 2010 to 2013 which earned him an NAACP Image Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 2011.
