Kip Christian Moore is an American country music singer and songwriter signed to MCA Nashville. His album Up All Night was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America, and his singles "Somethin' 'Bout a Truck" and "Beer Money" both reached number one on the Country Airplay chart. He spent eight years in Nashville before signing a record deal with MCA Nashville. His debut album, Up All Night, was released in April 2012 and includes the singles "Somethin' 'Bout a Truck" and "Beer Money", both of which reached number one on the Country Airplay chart. The album was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America for selling one million copies in the United States. Moore's second album, Wild Ones, was released in August 2015 and includes the singles "I'm to Blame", "Running for You", and "More Girls Like You".
The album debuted at number one on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and was certified gold by the RIAA. Moore released "More Girls Like You" on February 10, 2017, as the first single from an as-yet-untitled new album. Kip Moore music revealed the album's name, Slowheart, and its September 8 release date on June 21, 2017. Moore issued his second EP, Room to Spare: The Acoustic Sessions, on November 16, 2018. The EP consists of seven acoustic tracks and was preceded by the single releases of "Tennessee Boy," "Plead the Fifth," and "It Ain't California." Moore penned the song "She's Mine" nearly ten years ago, and it was eventually made public in 2019. Kip Moore has achieved numerous awards and accolades in his career.
He has earned two Grammy nominations, four CMA Award nominations, three ACM Award nominations, three Billboard Music Awards, and four No. 1 hits on the Country Airplay Chart. He also went to Platinum for his first album, “Up All Night," and received critical acclaim for his following albums “Wild Ones” (Gold) and “Slowheart” (Platinum). Kip has also been honored with multiple awards from organizations such as the Academy of Country Music, who awarded him Song of the Year in 2013 for "Somethin' 'bout a Truck." As well as honors from professional organizations, Kip's fans have taken notice of his work; he won the NASH Next Honoree award in 2016 and was voted CMT Artist of the Year four times.
