During the planning stages of a 25th-anniversary compilation, Stereophonics' album "Oochya!" started to take shape. Frontman Kelly Jones revealed that while sifting through their hard drives for material to include, he stumbled upon previously unreleased songs. Inspired by these findings, three or four tracks on "Oochya!" were constructed from these discoveries, ultimately leading to the creation of a collection of new compositions. Jones further characterized the album as predominantly uptempo, stating that approximately 90 percent of the tracks embody this energetic quality. In 2024, Stereophonics announced an exciting tour that will take them to various cities around the world.
