John van der Put is a British magician and comedian who performs under the name Piff the Magic Dragon. He was born on June 9, 1980, in West Sussex, England. He began performing a magic show at the age of 10 and has been a professional magician since he was 18. He has performed in over 40 countries and has been featured on numerous television shows, including "America's Got Talent," "Penn & Teller: Fool Us," and "Conan." Piff the Magic Dragon combines comedy and magic in his act, which typically consists of him performing tricks while in character as a dragon.
