AMP presents Disney Pixar’s Coco in Concert on Tour, featuring a screening of the complete film with Oscar® and Grammy®-winning composer Michael Giacchino’s musical score performed by the 20-member Orquesta Folclorico Nacional de Mexico. This unique concert experience celebrates the vibrant culture of Mexico and brings to life the award-winning story of Miguel Rivera and his magical journey to the Land of the Dead. Coco in Concert debuted in 2018 at The Hollywood Bowl, where it sold out for five consecutive nights. It has since traveled to over 30 venues across North America, including Red Rocks Amphitheater, Radio City Music Hall, and The Greek Theatre. In 2019, Coco in Concert won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Soundtrack/Compilation Album for Visual Media. The Orquesta Folclorico Nacional de Mexico is an ensemble of 20 musicians from Mexico City who perform traditional Mexican music with a modern twist. They have been featured in films such as Coco (2017) and Ferdinand (2017). The orchestra's leader is renowned conductor Gustavo Dudamel, who has collaborated with many major orchestras around the world.
