Jagged Little Pill is a jukebox musical with music by Alanis Morissette and Glen Ballard, lyrics by Morissette, and a book by Diablo Cody, with additional music by Michael Farrell and Guy Sigsworth. It is based on Morissette's album of the same name, her best-selling album to date. The musical made its world premiere at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on May 5, 2018. The rock musical tells the story of the Healys, Mary Jane, Steve, and their teenage son and daughter Nick and Frankie, a seemingly picture-perfect suburban family whose lives are anything but perfect. The family is dealing with a variety of issues, including infidelity, drug abuse, rape, and suicide. The musical received mixed reviews from critics. Some praised the show for its handling of difficult topics, while others felt that it was too heavy-handed and did not do justice to Morissette's music. 

The show has two different acts. The first act focuses on the family's struggles, while the second act focuses on their healing process. Jagged Little Pill had 15 nominations for the 74th Tony Trophies, the most of any production during the 2019–2020 season, and took home two awards. Additionally, it received a Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album.
