Lenny Clarke is an American comedian and actor who has been entertaining audiences for decades. Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, he began his stand-up career in the Boston comedy scene in the early 1980s. His unique style of humor, which often includes stories about growing up in a working-class neighborhood and his thick Boston accent, has gained him a loyal following throughout the United States and abroad. In 1984, Lenny was named Funniest Person In America by Showtime Network after winning their nationwide competition. This recognition opened many doors for Lenny as he went on to appear on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and Late Night with David Letterman numerous times. He also appeared in films such as The Perfect Storm (2000), There's Something About Mary (1998), Me, Myself & Irene (2000), and Ted 2 (2015).
In addition to stand-up comedy, Lenny has also had a successful acting career. He portrayed Uncle Teddy on the FX television series Rescue Me from 2004 to 2011. He has also made guest appearances on shows such as 30 Rock, Louie, and It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. In 2020, he released his first Netflix special titled I'm Sorry You Feel That Way.
