Kansas City Ballet (KC Ballet) is a professional ballet company with a rich history in the city dating back to 1957. This August 2023, the $2.1 million South Campus of the Kansas City Ballet will reopen in Prairie Village, Kansas, at 95th Street and Nall Avenue. The Ballet has run a dancing school at the location since 2002, but a $2.1 million renovation and extension of the facility would more than quadruple its floor footage, from 3,400 square feet to roughly 12,000 square feet, and add two additional studios. They're almost finished, Amey claimed. There are a few minor adjustments we're making, but we are unable to move into the area until the scaffolding is removed from the building's side and the construction is complete because it is directly above us as we enter our front door.
