The Indiana Fever is an American professional basketball team based in Indianapolis, playing in the Eastern Conference in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Founded in 2000, the Indiana WNBA team has been a mainstay of the WNBA since its inception. Their home games take place at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, where they have played since 2008. Throughout their history, the Fever have developed several rivalries with other teams in their conference, including the Chicago Sky, Washington Mystics, and Atlanta Dream. The Fever have had a great deal of success throughout their history, winning three Eastern Conference titles and appearing in two WNBA Finals.
