The Ottawa 67's is an esteemed junior ice hockey team located in the beautiful city of Ottawa, Ontario. This club plays within the renowned Ontario Hockey League (OHL). To commemorate Canada's 100th year, the Ottawa 67s were established in 1967 and currently play their home games at TD Place Arena. Ottawa outshone the Kelowna Rockets with an extraordinary double overtime victory, making it the longest game ever played in Memorial Cup tournament history. The Ottawa team ultimately secured a third-place spot in the round-robin but was stopped short of victory by Rimouski Océanic -- led by Sidney Crosby -- in the semifinal match. In 2018-19, Andre Tourigny achieved the highest honor as OHL Coach of the Year for his impeccable coaching with the Ottawa 67's. Under his leadership, they attained an unbeatable record at 50-12-6 and 106 points. For the second year in a row, Tourigny took home the OHL Coach of the Year award in 2019–20 after posting an impressive 50–11–1 record during a shortened season and also becoming CHL Coach of the Year.
