The LSU Tigers Baseball team is one of the most successful teams in college baseball, boasting a long and storied history of success. Founded in 1893, the Tigers have been playing baseball for over a century and have become one of the most successful programs in the country. The team plays its home games at Alex Box Stadium, located on the Louisiana State University campus. The Tigers are led by some of college baseball’s top players such as pitcher Zack Hess who was named First Team All-SEC last season after throwing for 78 strikeouts; outfielder Antoine Duplantis who had 16 home runs last season; catcher Saul Garza who had 43 RBIs last season; shortstop Hal Hughes who had a .345 batting average last season; and infielder Daniel Cabrera who had 11 stolen bases last season.
