The infamous Monsters of Destruction racing series, showcasing powerful monster trucks and airing on the Outdoor Channel, sadly ended in 2006 after captivating audiences for years. Milestone Motorsports, a marketing company focused on monster trucks, along with Simz Productions of Sacramento, CA. presented the series to the public. In 2005, Milestone Motorsports was established and featured a wide range of trucks like Bigfoot, Dragon Slayer, Samson, Obsession, and Spider-Man. There were also occasional appearances by Bounty Hunter and Iron Outlaw – the latter being known as ‘Outlaw (2Xtreme)’ at times. From 2005-2010, some of the most renowned monster truck champions included Dragon Slayer (Kreg Christensen), Obsession (Rick Swanson), Big Foot (Bob Chandler), Samson (John Seasock) Spider-Man(Kreg Christensen), and Bounty Hunter(Mark Hall).
The show featured drivers in a variety of intense competitions such as wheelie competitions, drag racing, freestyle, quad drivers, extreme ATV race, and hill climbs. The show has been praised for its use of real-life stunts and effects that really showed off the power of monster trucks in an exciting way.
