BONDED is Jaimee Paul's 4th recording on the Green Hill Music label and certainly her crowning achievement thus far in her young career.
Ms. Paul was up in Southern Illinois and was heavily involved in the church choir. She was influenced by gospel and blues music and developed a specific love for jazz. She moved away from her hometown to study music business at renowned Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. After graduating, Jaimee obtained employment right away at several record labels, where she handled radio promotion and marketing. At the same time, she started working intermittently as a studio session vocalist. Jaimee's skill was instantly acknowledged, and she soon started traveling as a backup vocalist with Kelly Clarkson, The Judds, and most recently, country diva Wynonna.
Jaimee was hired by Green Hill Music in 2008 as the label's first female vocalist, and her debut album, "At Last," debuted at the top of the iTunes Jazz rankings. Her devotional hymns CD, "Hear My Prayer," received a Dove award nomination for Best Inspirational Album in 2013. Several albums that were released after that, including "Bonded," a tribute record to the 50 years of the James Bond film series, were in the Top 10.
The James Bond series centers on a fictional British Secret Service agent that author Ian Fleming invented in 1953 and used in twelve novels and two collections of short stories. Since Fleming's passing in 1964, eight additional writers—Kingsley Amis, Christopher Wood, John Gardner, Raymond Benson, Sebastian Faulks, Jeffery Deaver, William Boyd, and Anthony Horowitz—have produced officially sanctioned Bond novels or novelizations. The most recent book is Anthony Horowitz's With a Mind to Kill, which was released in May 2022. In addition, Kate Westbrook authored three novels based on the journals of Moneypenny, a recurring character in the series, while Charlie Higson developed a trilogy about a young James Bond.
