Twice is a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment through the 2015 reality show Sixteen. The group is composed of nine members: Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. Twice officially debuted in October 2015 with the mini-album The Story Begins and its lead single "Like Ooh-Ahh". The song was a commercial success and earned the group several awards including Rookie of the Year at various music award shows. In 2016, Twice released its second EP Page Two and its lead single "Cheer Up". The song was an even bigger hit than their debut single as it became the best-performing single of the year in South Korea. It also won Song of the Year at both Melon Music Awards and Mnet Asian Music Awards. In 2017, Twice released their third EP Twicetagram which included their first number one hit "Signal". This song topped multiple charts in South Korea as well as Billboard's World Digital Songs chart.
In 2018, they released their fifth EP What Is Love? which included two number-one singles: "What Is Love?" and "Dance The Night Away". This album also earned them numerous awards including Album of the Year at both Seoul Music Awards and Golden Disc Awards. Twice has continued to dominate the world music scene with its sixth EP Yes or Yes (2018), seventh EP Fancy You (2019), and eighth EP Feel Special (2019). All three albums achieved great success on various international music charts such as Billboard 200 and Gaon Album Chart. They have also released several successful singles including "TT", "Knock Knock" and "Fancy". On top of that, Twice has held several sold-out tours across Asia as well as Europe including TWICE World Tour 2019 ‘TWICELIGHTS’ in Japan Dome Tour 2019 ‘#Dreamday’.
