Four Tet, the British electronic music producer, and DJ, has been creating music for over 20 years. Born Kieran Hebden in London, he began making music as a teen and released his first album Dialogue in 1999. His second album Pause was released in 2001 and received critical acclaim from critics and fans alike. It achieved both commercial success and widespread recognition, becoming one of the most influential albums of the decade. In 2003, Four Tet released Rounds to further critical praise. This album included the hit single "As Serious As Your Life" which became an anthem for many electronic music fans around the world. Four Tet went on to release several more albums including Everything Ecstatic (2005), There Is Love in You (2010), Pink (2012), Beautiful Rewind (2013), and Morning/Evening (2015). Each album showcased a different side of Four Tet's sound, ranging from ambient electronica to experimental dance. His unique blend of sounds has earned him numerous awards including Best Electronic Album at the Mercury Music Prize (2003) and Best Dance Release at the Q Awards (2004).
In 2019, Four Tet announced his new album Sixteen Oceans which debuted at number two on UK Albums Chart. The album includes singles such as "Dreamer", "Love Salad" and "Teenage Birdsong". This record also earned him a nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 2021 Grammy Awards. After its release, Four Tet embarked on a world tour that included dates across Europe, North America, and Asia. 2023 will mark another milestone for Four Tet as he embarks on yet another world tour!
