Vincent Fenton known professionally as French Kiwi Juice or the abbreviation FKJ is a French multi-instrumentalist, singer, and musician from the city of Tours. FKJ was born on March 26, 1990, to a French mother and a New Zealander father. He grew up listening to a variety of genres, including "English rock, Queen, Pink Floyd, The Police, '70s rock, Led Zeppelin, some jazz or Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Miles Davis, and a little bit of French music, but not too much, like Serge Gainsbourg." He also enjoyed "'60s rock, The Beatles, and a lot of jazz." According to some, FKJ is "one of the flag bearers" and a "pioneer" of the emerging New French House subgenre. He received his initial training in film sound engineering at a film school. In 2013, he independently released his first EP titled "Time for a Change", which was followed by the release of his second EP, "The Twin" in 2014. His self-titled debut album was released in 2016, and his second album, "French Kiwi Juice", was released in 2017. Following the 2017 release of the studio recording and the entirely improvised song "Tadow," FKJ attracted a lot of public attention. In a day-long recording session that followed their first meeting, he created the song spontaneously with fellow musician Masego.
