Bad Boy Chiller Crew is a bassline collective from Bradford, England. They are made up of four members: DJ Q, Jamie Duggan, TQD (Royal-T, DJ Q, and Flava D), and Chris Lorenzo. The group began in 2011 when DJ Q and Jamie Duggan formed their first production team. In 2012, they released their debut single “The Music” which was a huge hit in the UK Bassline scene. Since then they have gone on to release several more singles, EPs, and albums including the critically acclaimed “The Night Is Young” EP (2013) and “The Return Of The Bad Boy Chiller Crew” LP (2015). Their music has been described as a blend of classic UK garage, grime, and bassline with modern influences such as trap and house. They have become one of the most popular acts in the UK Bassline scene with their unique sound and energetic live shows. Over the years they have gained recognition from some of the biggest names in the industry such as Skream, Benga, and Chase & Status who have all featured them on their tracks or remixes.
In 2017, Bad Boy Chiller Crew was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Drum & Bass Awards; an award that celebrates new talent in drum & bass music. They also won Best Track at The Bass Music Awards for their track “Crazy” which was released in 2018.
