Dopapod is an American progressive rock band from Boston, Massachusetts. The members, Rob Compa (guitar/vocals), Eli Winderman (keyboards/vocals), Chuck Jones (bass/vocals), and Neal “Fro” Evans (drums/percussion) have been playing together since 2003. Dopapod has released seven studio albums to date, including their most recent album, MEGAGEM, in 2020. Their music is a unique blend of funk, jazz-fusion, prog-rock, and electronica, earning them a devoted following throughout the US and beyond. The band has been praised for their live performances and improvisation skills; they are renowned for their ability to create complex musical passages on the spot. In addition to their studio recordings, Dopapod also releases live albums and videos that capture their live shows' energy. They have toured extensively throughout North America as well as international festivals such as Electric Forest Festival in Michigan and Summer Camp Music Festival in Illinois. Over the years they have shared the stage with some of the biggest names in music including Umphrey's McGee, String Cheese Incident, and The Disco Biscuits.
