Dirty Heads is an American hip-hop reggae rock band from Huntington Beach, California. The group's label was inspired by the fact that their family members used to joke around and call them "dirty heads" when they were growing up. The band is composed of Jared Watson (vocals), drummer Matt Ochoa, percussionist Jon Olazabal, David Foral (bass), and Dustin Bushnell (vocals, guitar). Watson and Bushnell met in 1996 while attending Huntington Beach High School. They began making music together in their early twenties and released their first album, "Any Port in a Storm" in 2008. 

The band has released seven studio albums: Any Port in a Storm (2008), Cabin by the Sea (2012), Sound of Change (2014), Dirty Heads (2016), SWIM TEAM (2017), Super Moon (2019), and Ocean by the Sun (2021). Dirty Heads have sold over one million albums worldwide and have had two gold-certified singles, "Lay Me Down" and "My Sweet Summer". The group has won several honors, including two Hollywood Music in Media Awards for Best Reggae Album (Cabin by the Sea) and Best Alternative Rock Album (Sound of Change). They've been nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album and an MTV Video Music Award for Best Rock Video (Vacation).
