Wilco is an alternative rock band from Chicago, Illinois. Following the disbandment of the country group Uncle Tupelo, the remaining members formed Wilco in 1994. During its first decade, the group's lineup varied frequently; only singer Jeff Tweedy and bassist John Stirratt remained from the initial line-up. Since early 2004, the lineup has been unchanged, consisting of Tweedy, Stirratt, guitarist Nels Cline, multi-instrumentalist Pat Sansone, keyboard player Mikael Jorgensen, and drummer Glenn Kotche.
