The Walters is an American band based in Chicago, Illinois, United States, that formed in 2004. The band members are Luke Olson (lead vocals, guitar), Walter Kosner (lead guitar), MJ Tirabassi (rhythm guitar), Danny Wells (bass), and Charlie Ekhaus (drums). The group went on its first national tour in 2017 and also performed at the Lollapalooza Music Festival. The Walters disbanded in 2017, and would later reunite in 2021.
The Walters released their debut EP, Songs For Dads, on November 28, 2014. The EP featured the song "I Love You So," which would go viral on TokTok in 2021. The single has also been RIAA certified Platinum, BPI certified Silver, and MC certified Gold. The group released two more EPs, Young Men in 2015 and Try Again in 2022. They have also released several singles including "Hunk Beach," "Goodbye Baby," "I Wanna Be Good," and "She's Gonna Leave You."
