The Score is an American alternative rock band formed in New York City in 2011. The band consists of members from different rock bands who came together to create a new sound. The Score's music has been featured in multiple films and television shows.
The group was founded by Eddie Anthony and Edan Dover, who posted joint demos on SoundCloud.
In addition to releasing two new singles on their YouTube site, Dancing Shoes and Don't Wanna Wake Up, Eddie Anthony and Edan Dover continued to produce demos. Additionally, they stated that their first EP would be released in 2013.
The Score's first EP, Flight, was released on February 12, 2013. The band later released an acoustic version of the song "This Is Why" on their YouTube page.
On May 28, 2014, The Score released their first full-length album, Pressure. The album debuted at number 185 on the Billboard 200 chart.
In May 2015, The Score announced that they had signed with Republic Records. The band's label debut single, "Oh My Love", was released on June 9, 2015.
The Score's second album, Atlas, was released on November 4, 2016. It debuted at number 97 on the Billboard 200 chart.
On January 26, 2018, The Score released the single "Glory", which was featured in the film Maze Runner: The Death Cure.
The band's third album, Noisy Spirit, was released on April 17, 2020. It debuted at number 31 on the Billboard Top Rock Albums chart.
