Phoebe Bridgers is an American indie rock musician from Los Angeles, California. She was born on August 17th, 1994, and began writing music at the age of 11. She quickly gained recognition for her witty lyrical perspectives and, sadly, beautiful songs. Bridgers’s first album, Stranger in the Alps, was released in 2017 and received critical acclaim. The album featured popular tracks such as "Motion Sickness" and "Scott Street," which were both praised by fans and critics alike. In 2018, Bridgers formed the supergroup Boygenius with Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus. The trio released their self-titled EP that same year to much fanfare. The group even performed a surprise set at Austin International Airport’s baggage claim during SXSW in 2019. In 2020, Bridgers released her second solo album, Punisher, to critical acclaim.
Phoebe Bridgers albums earned her a Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Music Album as well as an MTV Video Music Award for Best Rock Video for the song "Kyoto".
