Panchiko is a British indie rock band that has been rocking the music scene since 1997. Formed in Nottingham, England, Panchiko consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Owain Davies, guitarist and keyboardist Andrew "Andy" Wright, bassist Shaun Ferreday, and drummer John. The Panchiko band has had immense success over the years with their unique sound and soulful lyrics. Panchiko’s debut album “The Road to Nowhere” was released in 2002 to critical acclaim. It featured hit singles such as “Lonely Nights”, “My Life In A Bottle” and “I Don't Care Anymore”. The Panchiko album earned them two BRIT Awards for Best Album and Best Group Performance. With this success firmly behind them, Panchiko embarked on multiple world tours throughout the 2000s. In 2009, Panchiko released their second album “A New Beginning” which featured hits such as “Let It Go” and “I Wanna Know You Better”. This album earned them three more BRIT Awards for Best Rock Album, Best Rock Performance, and Best Group Performance.
Following the release of this album, Panchiko went on a much larger world tour that took them to Europe, North America, and Australia. Panchiko then went on a hiatus until 2018 when they announced their third album "The Future Is Now". This record included singles like "Crazy Love", "Rise" and "Gonna Be Alright". This album also earned them multiple awards including a Grammy Award for Best Rock Album as well as several MTV Music Video Awards for their single "Crazy Love". 2024 will mark the return of Panchiko to the stage with an extensive world tour taking place across Europe, North America, and Australia!
