Milky Chance is a German folk-rock duo formed in Kassel, Germany in 2012. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Clemens Rehbein, bassist and percussionist Philipp Dausch, and their band members, Antonio Greger and Sebastian Schmidt. Together they have achieved international success with their unique blend of folk-pop, reggae, rock, and electronica. Their debut album Sadnecessary was released in 2013 to critical acclaim. The album featured the hit single “Stolen Dance” which peaked at number 1 on the German Singles Chart as well as reaching the top 10 in several other countries. The band followed up with the release of Blossom in 2017 which included the singles “Cocoon” and “Ego”. In 2019 Milky Chance released their third studio album Mind The Moon which features the singles “The Game” and “Fado”. Milky Chance has earned numerous awards including three Echo Awards for Best National Newcomer (2014), Best National Rock/Pop Group (2015), and Best National Video (2017). Their music has been featured on numerous soundtracks such as FIFA 17, FIFA 18, and FIFA 19 as well as television shows like Grey's Anatomy and Suits.
They have performed at festivals worldwide such as Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival (2018) and Lollapalooza Berlin (2019). In 2021 they are set to embark on a world tour beginning in North America before heading overseas to Europe and then the Asia Pacific before returning home to Germany for a series of concerts throughout the summer months. In 2023 Milky Chance will be taking their show on the road again for an extensive world tour! Fans can expect to hear all their favorite hits from across all three albums plus some new material from their upcoming fourth studio album due out later this year. This tour will span over two years with dates throughout Europe, North America, Asia Pacific, Australia & New Zealand.
