Mike Delguidice & Big Shot is an American rock band from Long Island, New York. Led by singer and pianist Mike DelGuidice, the band has been performing since 2003. Their music is a mix of classic rock and modern pop, with influences ranging from Billy Joel to Bruce Springsteen. They are best known for their cover of "Piano Man" by Billy Joel which became an instant hit in the US. The song was featured on the popular TV show Glee and has been covered by various artists throughout the world. The group's debut album, Big Shot: The Songs of Billy Joel, was released in 2010 and was met with critical acclaim. It included covers of some of Billy Joel's most beloved hits such as "Uptown Girl," "Just The Way You Are," and "Scenes From An Italian Restaurant." It also featured two original songs written by Mike DelGuidice himself. In 2012, they released their follow-up album Live at the Paramount which was recorded live at The Paramount Theater in Huntington, NY.
