Love and Rockets was formed in 1985 by Daniel Ash, David J, and Kevin Haskins. The English alternative rock band is best known for their singles "So Alive," "No New Tale to Tell," and "Mirror People." Their first album, Seventh Dream of Teenage Heaven, was released in 1985. It featured the single "If There's a Heaven Above" which became an underground hit in the UK. The band's second album, Express, followed in 1986 and included the hit single "No New Tale to Tell." This song was later used as the theme song for the film Pump Up The Volume. In 1989 Love and Rockets released their third album Earth Sun Moon. It featured two singles: "Holiday on the Moon" and "So Alive", which topped Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart for four weeks.
Following this success, Love and Rockets released Hot Trip to Heaven in 1994 which spawned two more hits: "Kundalini Express" and "Love Me". In 1995 they released Sweet F.A., which included the singles "Mirror People" and "Ball of Confusion". After releasing several other albums such as Lift (1998) and Love & Rockets (2004), Love & Rockets decided to go on hiatus in 2007. The band reunited again in 2015 to celebrate their 30th anniversary with a tour across Europe. They performed all of their classic songs as well as some new material from their latest EP release called “Sweet F.A.: Redux” that same year. They announced that they would be embarking on a world tour starting in 2023 with dates throughout Europe before heading out to North America! Fans can expect to hear all of their classics from over the years along with some new material from upcoming releases - it will be an amazing show!
