The Dropkick Murphys are a punk band from Quincy, Massachusetts that formed in 1996. They have become one of the most popular American Celtic bands, blending punk rock with traditional folk sounds. Their discography includes 8 studio albums and numerous singles, eps, and compilations. The Dropkick Murphys’ debut album Do or Die was released in 1998 to critical acclaim. They were also nominated for two Grammy Awards for Best Rock Performance by a Duo/Group With Vocals in 2008 for “I'm Shipping Up To Boston" and Best Long-Form Music Video in 2009 for Live on Lansdowne, Boston MA.
