Brother Moses was founded in 2014 at the University of Arkansas by high school classmates and college dorm mates James Lockhart and Moses Gomez. After meeting percussion student Michael Seck, the trio began hauling all of their equipment, on foot, at night, to meet once a week in a basement rehearsal space that they were not technically allowed to use so that they might rehearse for the University Battle of the Bands – which they lost.
The band moved into what they dubbed "e Farm," an unusual home at the edge of campus with a converted garage studio, once their dorm-only living arrangement had ended at the end of their freshman year. Brother Moses combines driving guitars with catchy melodies to create a sound that is sure to get your toes tapping.
