Andrew McMahon, the veteran musician, and songwriter, has been a force in the music industry since his early days with Something Corporate. In 2001, he released his debut album Ready... Break which received critical acclaim. The album included hit singles such as "I Woke Up in a Car" and "Punk Rock Princess". His success continued to grow with the release of his second album Leaving Through the Window in 2002. It featured hits like "The Space Between" and "Dark Blue", which were both certified gold by RIAA. In 2004, McMahon launched his solo career with the formation of Jack's Mannequin. His self-titled debut album was certified gold and included popular songs such as "The Mixed Tape" and "Bruised". A few years later, he released his second solo album The Glass Passenger which spawned hit singles like "Swim" and "Crashin". He also wrote a song for the movie soundtrack of Twilight: New Moon titled 'Shooting Star'. This track earned him a nomination for Best Original Song at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards.
McMahon's third studio album People & Things was released in 2011. It featured popular tracks such as "My Racing Thoughts" and "Cecilia And The Satellite". He then went on to release two EPs - Maps For The Getaway (2013) and Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness (2014). His latest EP Upside Down Flowers was released in 2019, featuring tracks such as “Ohio” and “Teenage Rockstars”. 2023 will be an exciting year for Andrew McMahon fans! He announced that he is embarking on a world tour this year in celebration of his 20th anniversary as a professional musician!
