The All-American Rejects are an American rock band from Stillwater, Oklahoma, formed in 1999 by Tyson Ritter and Nick Wheeler. The band achieved success with their debut album, The All-American Rejects, released on the Dreamworks Records label in 2002. The album spawned the hit single "Swing Swing" which peaked at number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The album was certified platinum in the US and gold in Canada. Following its success, they released their second studio album Move Along in 2005 to critical acclaim and commercial success. It produced three singles; "Dirty Little Secret", "Move Along", and "It Ends Tonight". The single "Dirty Little Secret" became a top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and was certified platinum by the RIAA.
The All-American Rejects have since gone on to release four more albums, When The World Comes Down (2008), Kids In The Street (2012), Too Far Gone (2015), and Send Away The Tigers (2019). They have also won numerous awards including two Teen Choice Awards for Choice Rock Group in 2006 and 2007 as well as a Grammy Award nomination for Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals for their song “Gives You Hell” in 2010.
