The stadium hosted Rounds 1 and 2 of the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament in 2004, 2008, 2014, and 2016 consecutively. On January 28, 2019, the arena shattered its one-time attendance record with an epic 20,052 attendees for Metallica's WorldWired Tour. The Apex Legends Global Series Championship will be held in the arena on July 7-10, 2022.
