The Marvelous Wonderettes is a musical that has been delighting audiences since its debut in 2008. It was written and created by Roger Bean and features four female characters, Betty Jean, Cindy Lou, Missy, and Suzy. The show follows the story of these four young women as they navigate their way through high school, singing classic 50s and 60s hits such as “Lollipop”, “Dream Lover”, “Stupid Cupid”, and more. The show has seen great success over the years with multiple tours across the US and UK. It was nominated for an Olivier Award in 2009 for Best New Musical and won the Off-Broadway Alliance Award for Best Family Musical in 2010.
