The new musical ¡Americano! is based on the true story of Tony Valdovinos. Tony had always wanted to serve in the Marines, and when he was 18, he tried to enlist. But then Tony found out that he was an undocumented immigrant - a Dreamer. With determination and help from his family and community, Tony realized that he could make more of a difference by fighting for change as an activist. And so that's what he set out to do: create history, inspire good, and bring about progressive change on behalf ofDreamers everywhere.
