The story is based on William Shakespeare's 1602 play Twelfth Night and is set in 1955 during the rock 'n' roll era. All Shook Up has been performed all over the world since its debut in 2004, including Broadway, Off-Broadway, regional theaters, international productions, schools, and community theaters.
