Messmer has spent the previous few decades developing the ability to hypnotize people with his eyes and fascinate them by taking them far into their subconscious. The Fascinator uses energy transfer, hypnosis, magnetism, and a few other of his own methods to give his subjects incredible experiences on stage or during one of his well-liked television programs that air in Canada and Europe.
In Canada and French-speaking Europe, over 500,000 people have witnessed Messmer's performances of Fascinateur (from 2007 to 2012) and Intemporel (from 2012 to the present). Over 100,000 spectators have been entranced by him at his performances over the course of his career. The man has a complete understanding of this science, not a gift. He has successfully dominated both the public and the media, and he enjoys success everywhere he goes.
He has produced a number of television shows with millions of viewers. Messmer has dominated Canadian television since 2009. Following the broadcast of his program Fascinateur, which introduced the world to his cosmos, the Fascinator made an appearance in the lavishly produced series Messmer: Drôlement mystérieux on the well-known TVA. He first appeared on television in Europe in 2011 when the show Messmer: Plus qu'un hypnotiseur aired on channel M6. He co-hosted the TF1 television show Stars sous hypnose alongside well-known television host Arthur, and he appeared in the inaugural episode in July 2014.
The program's ratings were spectacular, topping 5.1 million. In the following months, he proceeded to enthrall television audiences with his brand-new series of a brand-new genre, Les Hyp-Gags de Messmer, as well as with the follow-up to this series in Europe, a spinoff of this same program presented in Canada, Messmer fascine les stars (TVA).
Messmer was understandably perplexed by the practice of attraction from an early age. When he was 7 years old and his grandfather gave him a book on hypnosis, he first became interested in it. He examined his book of spells' explanations of the different hypnosis, magnetic, and energy transfer procedures with great interest.
Messmer will return to Paris on October 31 for a run of 76 performances at the Bobino Theatre. Then he will carry on with his tour of Europe and Canada.
