Matt Bennett is an American actor. He is most commonly known for his role as Robbie Shapiro in the Nickelodeon sitcom Victorious. He has also starred in Will Ferrell-produced film The Virginity Hit.
Bennett grew up in Massapequa Park, New York. He has two sisters, Shereen and Nicole. His father is of Italian descent and his mother is Jewish. He attended Plainedge High School.
Bennett's acting debut was in the 2004 film 13 Going on 30, playing the younger version of Mark Ruffalo's character, Matt Flamhaff. He has also appeared in episodes of the television series Medium, Ghost Whisperer, and Without a Trace.
In 2010, Bennett was cast as Robbie Shapiro in the Nickelodeon sitcom Victorious. The show premiered in March 2010 and ended in February 2013.
Bennett has also starred in the Will Ferrell-produced film The Virginity Hit, which was released direct-to-video in 2010.
In 2012, Bennett appeared in an episode of the television series iCarly, titled "iGo One Direction".
In 2016, Bennett had a small role in the film The Bronze, playing the character Gary.
From 2022 onward, DJ Matt Bennett will tour several venues, including House of Blues chains, playing songs from Disney and Nickelodeon series. The shows are collectively known as "iParty with DJ Matt Bennett."
