American television magic show Masters of Illusion, which was presented on the main stage of the Magic Castle in Hollywood, California, was shown on television networks like Pax TV from 2000 to 2001. The stage show was created by David Copperfield and produced by his company, Conjuring Arts Research Center. The show featured magicians from around the world performing close-up magic, stage illusions, comedy magic, street magic, grand illusions, mind magic, card tricks, hand perplexing interactive mind magic, daring escapes, mind-boggling sleight of hand perplexing, large scale illusions, jaw-dropping illusion display skills, even opera singing and dangerous stunts performed in front of a live audience with audience participation hosted also by Dean Cain. He is best known for playing Superman in the award winning TV series “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman”. Special guest stars in te magic show have included Criss Angel, and Penn & Teller: Fool Us in The Hollywood Christmas Parade and in Wizard Wars.
Later, in 2009, the program was brought back and aired on MyNetworkTV. The program ran in syndication and was shown as four distinct specials in 2012. It aired on the CW network and Comedy Central from last August 2014 to July 2017, with encore episodes airing into 2018. By 2020, the program had completed seven seasons on the network and had been renewed for a total of eleven seasons. Last April 9, 2022, the eleventh season officially began. The CW decided to renew the hit television series for a 12th season in January 20, 2022.
