Simon Gouache is an award-winning French Canadian singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Quebec. He is best known for his romantic music, ranging from folk to pop to country, which he has been creating since the early 2000s. His music draws inspiration from a variety of sources including classic French songs as well as traditional Celtic and North American folk tunes. Since his debut album L'amour in 2002, Simon has gone on to record nine more albums of heartfelt music that speak to the human condition. From his fan favorites Les Accroches-Coeurs and La Grande Ville to his acclaimed covers album Le Cahier de Souliers Rouges. Each one brings something different while still possessing that unmistakable Gouache style; mixing melancholic melodies with melancholic lyrics sung in both English and French. Recently Simon also joined forces with fellow musician Eric Breton to produce a musical comedy titled “The Harp” which showcases Simon’s talents as both a composer and actor. In addition to this Simon regularly performs live shows across Canada with talented musicians from all over the world.
