Sal Vulcano is an American comedian, actor, producer, and television personality. He is best known for being one of the stars of the popular reality television series Impractical Jokers. Vulcano has also appeared as a guest on many other TV shows, including The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The View, and Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. Vulcano was born in Staten Island, New York, on November 6th, 1976. He attended Monsignor Farrell High School and then went on to study at St. John’s University. It was during his time at college that Vulcano met his future co-stars James Murray and Brian Quinn. The three friends would go on to form the comedy troupe “The Tenderloins”. In 2010, The Tenderloins starred in their own TV show called Impractical Jokers. The hidden camera practical joke show was an instant hit with viewers and quickly became one of the most popular shows on cable TV. Vulcano is also a successful stand-up comedian and has released his own comedy special “What’s Your Fuzz?”.
He is also a spokesperson for the non-profit organization CureFind ers, which is dedicated to finding a cure for cancer. Vulcano and his co-stars have since gone on to star in a number of successful spin-off shows, including Impractical Jokers: After Party and Impractical Jokers: Dinner Party. Outside of his work with The Tenderloins, Vulcano has also had success as a solo comedian and actor. In 2015, he starred in his own comedy special called “What Would Sal Do?”. He has also acted in a number of movies and TV shows, including Spider-Man 2, Miracle Workers, and Inside Amy Schumer. Vulcano is also a producer. He has produced several documentaries, including A Day in the Life of Damon Dash and Honor Thy Father. He has also executive produced Impractical Jokers: The Movie and the TV show Losers.
