Neal Brennan is an American comedian, writer, director, producer, and actor best known for co-creating the popular Comedy Central series Neal Brennan and Dave Chappelle Show with Dave Chappelle. He began his career in stand-up in the late 1990s before branching out into writing and producing Neal Brennan shows. To date, he has worked on over 20 different projects, including The Colbert Report and Kevin Hart Presents The Next Level. He also wrote and directed several films including Half-Baked and The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard. In 2016, Brennan released his first solo special 3 Mics for Neal Brennan Netflix. Later that year, he partnered with ESPN Radio's Dan Le Batard on the show '3 In The Box'. As well as directing music videos for artists such as Zayn Malik, he has written jokes for many high-profile personalities such as Mariah Carey and Barack Obama. His collaborations have seen him appear on shows such as Late Night With Seth Meyers and Inside Amy Schumer.
Neal Brennan's awards during his career include two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series for his work on Chappelle's Show.
