Mick Foley is a former professional wrestler and color commentator currently signed to WWE. He is best known for his hardcore wrestling style, which often resulted in him being involved in physical feats that would put his body through great pain. He has won multiple championships during his career, including the WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship. Foley is a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, having been inducted in 2013.
Mick Foley's career in professional wrestling began in 1983, when he was 18 years old. He was trained by Dory Funk Jr. and made his debut in June of that year. He wrestled for several promotions throughout the 1980s, including the United States Wrestling Association (USWA) and World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW). In 1987, he began wrestling for World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE), where he wrestled under the name "Mick Foley". He won the WWF Championship in 1999, after defeating The Rock in a "Hell in a Cell" match. Foley retired from professional wrestling in 2012, but returned to WWE in 2017 as a color commentator. He currently appears on Raw and SmackDown Live.
