Marcus D. Wiley is a comedian, co-host of the Yolanda Adams Morning Show, and best known for his hilarious impressions of Bishop Secular - his alter ego on the show. He also happens to be a college professor at Texas Southern University.
Born in Houston, Texas, the son of a pastor, Wiley is a stand-up comedian who has traveled the country presenting "Clean Edgy Comedy." Wiley went to high school at Willowridge High School in Missouri City, Texas. Marcus Wiley is renowned for setting trends and popularizing clean stand-up comedy.
In September 2002, Wiley launched his career in stand-up comedy. Yolanda Adams, a four-time Grammy Award winner, was impressed by his clean humor style and offered him a position as her co-host on her renowned radio program, "The Yolanda Adams Morning Show."
When Wiley performed material from his well-liked DVD series, such as "Pretty Women Never Get Married," "The Devil Ain't The Only One Busy," "When The Church Met The Club," "How To Live Holy When You're Horny," and "Comedy Is Sexy and Acting Married," on stage during his stand-up comedy tours, he received widespread acclaim.
In his most recent position, Wiley was a producer. He oversaw the creation of half-hour shows like "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," "New Girl," "The Mindy Project," and "Bob's Burgers," as well as being a key player in bringing "Last Man On Earth" to the network in his capacity as SVP and co-head of comedy development at Fox. On Marcus' portfolio are additional positions as a development executive at Regency Television and as a literary and packaging agent at the William Morris Agency, where he worked on shows like "Malcolm in the Middle" and "The Bernie Mac Show."
