Liz Miele, a native of New Jersey, began performing stand-up comedy in New York City at the age of 16. She featured on Comedy Central's "This Week at the Comedy Cellar," NPR's "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me," Hulu's "Coming To The Stage," AXS TV's "Gotham Comedy Live," and was highlighted in The New Yorker Magazine at age 18 and Comedy Central's "Live at Gotham" at age 22, respectively.
She regularly tours abroad, has three albums available on Spotify and iTunes, and her first special, "Self Help Me," is available for free on YouTube and has received over 1 million views. She also has several popular videos on Instagram, Tiktok, and Youtube, including the jokes "Feminist Sex Positions," "F*ck Finland," and "London Cops Are Better Than American Cops." Her most recent YouTube program, The Ghost Of Academic Future, has just made available. Her debut book, "Why Cats Are Assholes," which was published in March 2021, is now widely available.
Her animated web series "Damaged," which stars notable comics like Maz Jobrani, Hari Kondabolu, Ted Alexandro, Jermaine Fowler, Dean Edwards, DC Benny, Joe Machi, and many more, was created by her and produced in its first season. Additionally, she collaborated on the creation and 40 episodes of the web series "Apt C3" with fashion photographer Chris Vongsawat and fellow comic Carmen Lynch.
The webseries was written and directed by Miele and starred Lynch.
