Born Jared Antonio Farrow in Chesapeake, Virginia on October 14, 1987, Jay began his career as a stand-up comedian at the age of 16. He quickly gained recognition for his celebrity impressions and was soon featured on shows such as The Jay Leno Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live! In 2010, Jay joined the cast of Saturday Night Live (SNL) where he showcased his impressions of President Barack Obama, Denzel Washington, Eddie Murphy, Will Smith, and many more. His time on SNL earned him two Emmy nominations for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance in 2017 and 2018. In addition to his television appearances, Jay has released two comedy albums: Can I Be Me? in 2013 and Unprofessional in 2014. Both albums feature some of his best stand-up material as well as original music. In 2019, he released a single called “Famous” which was featured on the soundtrack for the movie Uncle Drew. Jay continues to tour around the world performing stand-up comedy shows. In 2020, he performed at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal and will be headlining several shows throughout 2023 including performances at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles and The Comedy Cellar in New York City.
