He is best known for his YouTube channel where he posts comedic videos and vlogs. He also hosts a weekly show on BBC Radio 1Xtra titled ‘Jaack Maate’s Happy Hour’ which focuses on conversations about mental health. Over the years, JaackMaate has been recognized for his work with awards such as Best Online Video at the 2018 British Comedy Awards and Best Comedy at the BAFTA Awards in 2017. Additionally, he won Shorty Award for Best Web Personality/Host in 2015 and was named one of the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list in 2016.
