Gary Meikle is a British comedian who has been making people laugh since the early 2000s. He has recently gained international attention with his appearances on Britain's Got Talent and Live at the Apollo, as well as his stand-up tours. Gary Meikle began his comedy career in Scotland, where he quickly became a popular act on the circuit. His unique brand of observational and anecdotal comedy earned him numerous awards including Scottish Comedian of the Year in 2015 and Chortle Award Best Newcomer in 2016. After gaining recognition from these awards, Gary went on to perform at some of the biggest comedy festivals around the world such as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Just for Laughs Montreal, and Melbourne International Comedy Festival. In 2017, Gary released his debut album The Immortal Life Of A Catman which was met with critical acclaim from both fans and critics alike.
Since then, he has gone on to release two more albums; The Unbelievable Truth in 2019 and Gary Meikle’s 2020 Vision in 2020. All three albums have seen success on streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. In addition to releasing music, Gary also continues to tour regularly across the UK and Europe. His 2021 tour will see him performing at venues such as The O2 Arena in London and Manchester Arena in Manchester.
