Born in Aurora, Colorado in 1983, he was an All-State football player and all-conference wrestler at Overland High School. After graduating from Whittier College with a degree in sociology, Brendan decided to pursue his dream of becoming a professional fighter. In addition to his fighting career, Brendan has also become well known for his popular podcast “The Fighter & The Kid” which he co-hosts with actor/comedian Bryan Callen.
