Anna Bogomazova, known professionally as Anya Zova (born 7 April 1990), is a comedian, actress and professional athlete, who competes in the high jump. Born in Kaliningrad, Russia, Zova began her athletic career as a hurdles specialist before making the switch to high jump in 2006. After winning her first senior national title in 2007, she represented her country at the Olympic Games in Beijing and placed 11th. The following year, she took part in the World Championships in Berlin, where she again finished 11th.
She worked in the WWE competing in their developmental territory NXT Wrestling, under the ring name Anya. She is a founder of Acting School Miami Anya Zova and the author of Zova's acting technique. Bogomazova graduated from law school and won the Kickboxing World Cup in 2011. In 2020, Bogomazova made her debut on US television in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine and the TV series MacGyver. In April 2022, she toured the US with her own comedy show, "Make Laughs Not War," in support of Ukraine and uniting people.
