Affion Crockett is an actor, writer, producer, and comedian who has been making his mark in the entertainment industry since the early 2000s. Born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Crockett was always passionate about comedy and performing. After graduating from high school he attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he studied Radio/TV/Film. It was during this time that he began to hone his comedic skills by writing and performing sketches for local clubs. In 2003, Affion Crockett made his television debut on Russell Simmons Presents Def Comedy Jam. His success on this show led him to a series of other television appearances including Wild 'N Out with Nick Cannon and HBO's Def Poetry Jam. He also appeared in a number of films such as Soul Men (2008), Dance Flick (2009), and The Wedding Ringer (2015). In 2011, Affion released his first stand-up comedy album titled Watch The Clone which featured skits from his MTV show "The Affion Crockett Show." This album received critical acclaim from fans and critics alike and established him as one of the top comedians in the game.
Since then, Affion has gone on to release several other albums such as Ain't Nobody Smiling (2013), and Where Is My Music? (2016) and most recently No Apologies (2019). His albums are filled with hilarious sketches that poke fun at everything from pop culture to current events. Additionally, Affion has hosted multiple shows over the years including Fox's Wild Card Saturday Night Live Digital Shorts and Fox's In The Flow With Affion Crockett. He also starred alongside Kevin Hart in Think Like A Man Too (2014). Affion will be taking his talents on tour with a 2023 comedy show tour across the United States!
